Water Holding Capacity

Water Holding Capacity is usually referred to in hydroponic applications. The Water Holding Capacity refers to the amount of water that is held by the perlite granules. The porous nature of the cellular granules result in a product which holds large quantities of readily available moisture, and has a strong capillary attraction for water.
